We are finally taking a rest day and have wifi and cell service so I am going to post a couple of blogs that I have been thinking about.
First, I thought you might be interested in travel at this time and in this place. There are many ways that our travel is not impacted by the COVID pandemic: 1) we are traveling in sparsely populated areas and rarely encounter anyone on the road; 2) our rig is quite self- contained with sleeping quarters, bath with shower, and kitchen ( albeit tight quarters for two humans and two dogs 👫🐕🐕); 3) the scenery remains spectacular and the wildlife practice social distancing as their innate nature

4) Jack and Star are likewise undaunted by talk of viruses
When we have been in the few towns along the way, we have seen all types…mask-wearing practitioners of social distancing and those who seem completely oblivious or unconcerned of the viral threat. We continue to be careful. The most difficult aspect is not being able to meet many people along the way since that is always one of the highlights of our travels 😔. The only crowded area that we have seen was the central loop of Yellowstone and we just rode through. The road to the East Entrance was blissfully quiet. We consider ourselves lucky to be on the road and appreciate this beautiful land in which we live

Love this and love your journey. Joan and I drove this similar route about 3 years ago. It is indeed amazing the beauty and grandeur of this part of the country. Just goes on and on. I enjoy your blogs.

Thanks Ron! Joan told me that you stayed in Greybull on the way. Small world. It is beautiful.

Great pictures! Thanks for sharing. That’s how I remember Yellowstone from our family trip decades ago. The lesson is…never go there when school is out.
